Holding a Childfree Wedding

http://www.a-weddingday.com/articlessyndicate/nokidsinourwedding.html

This article actually has some great points and tips for people who are planning their own wedding and want to keep it childfree but potential guests have to bring their child with them because they are unable to leave the child with a babysitter. Keeping the children guests entertained by another adult in a room separate from the wedding ceremony and reception is important for the newly married couple to be able to enjoy a quiet celebration in honor of their special day. The adult caretaker of the children would at least be able to keep the children from wandering back and forth into the reception hall or wedding ceremony space, whether it is a garden wedding or a church. Of course, the best thing to do is to say “This is a childfree wedding and reception” on the invitation but unfortunately there are some people who cannot go anywhere without their children or just think they are exempt from that particular clause in the wedding invitation.
