Holland Township family angry that supermarket won’t personalize cake for their son

JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell, Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell and Adolf Hitler Campbell.
Good names for a trio of toddlers? Heath and Deborah Campbell think so. The Holland Township couple has picked those names and the oldest child, Adolf Hitler Campbell, turns 3 today.
This has given rise to a problem, because the ShopRite supermarket in Greenwich Township has refused to make a cake for young Adolf’s birthday.
“We believe the request … to inscribe a birthday wish to Adolf Hitler is inappropriate,” said Karen Meleta, a ShopRite spokeswoman.
The Campbells turned down the market’s offer to make a cake with enough room for them to write their own inscription and can’t understand what all of the fuss is about.
“ShopRite can’t even make a cake for a 3-year-old,” said Deborah Campbell, 25, who is Heath’s wife of three years and the mother of the children. “That’s sad.”
Others, such as Anti-Defamation League director Barry Morrison, applauded Shop Rite’s decision.
“Might as well put a sign around their (the children’s) neck that says bigot, racist, hatemonger,” said Morrison. “What’s the difference?”

……………………………………………………………………………………………
Well well well little Adolf Hitler. I am very well aware that the young generation of parents are deliberately giving their offspring some very weird and strange names, but who wants their child to emulate a murderous dictating thug? Obviously the Campbells, who are open about their love for what they call Aryan identity - they have swastikas inside their homes, and admit they do not believe the races should mix. Even the family is blonde and blue-eyed. The Campbell parents both live on Social Security payments due to disability (I’m surprised they are not also on welfare). But the swastika is their symbol and they are not afraid to be open about it. This sort of lifestyle may be all right for adults to make their own choices, but dragging children into it is a big mistake in my opinion. The following excerpt from the second link is perhaps the most telling:
“Heath Campbell said he doesn’t want to force his views on his children, in part because he had views forced on him. He said he also teaches them nonviolence.
Abusive guardians, Heath Campbell said, used Bible verses to teach him to distrust blacks. If he questioned the guardians, he said, he was hit. He acknowledged he couldn’t challenge the guardians’ views.”
“The Campbells said they wanted their children to have unique names and didn’t expect the names to cause problems.”
I bet they didn’t. No, the Campbells knew exactly what they were doing when they decided to plaster their house with swastikas and give their children the names they did. It was no accident by any stretch. There is something clearly wrong with Heath and Deborah Campbell. It will be a long time until the children grow up to be of legal age when they can change their names if they wish. Given all of the whacko names that too many whacko parents insist on giving their children nowadays, maybe some legislation is required when it comes to naming children. It never did take a brain to breed.
